Synchronization

 

The synchronization view of the app will allow you to start and monitor the sync progress with your corporate web server. In the My Accounts To Go preference window you can specify which URL to connect with and what User ID and password to you. The synchronization process will synchronize customer, customer address, AR statement, sales order, item master and item location information with your iPhone. You may receive various error messages indicating the communication status such as user ID or password validity. As each file synchronizes successfully, the background color will turn to green. If the file is not successfully synchronized, the background color for that specific file will turn to red. Depending on the file sizes of your corporate data, this process may take several minutes.

In addition, you may select to synchronize only one specific file such as the order header or order line file in order to reduce the total synchronization time. This feature will work well for users whose customer or item master files stay fairly unchanged.
