Launched in 2000, UN Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainable initiative, urging global organizations to align their activities and strategies with ten universally accepted policies on human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. “SDGs”) steps in support of tangible issues.

Today’s announcement is based on the company’s recently published ESG goals, which it is working towards, including:
- 50% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 (defined by UNGC)
- Establish a formal action plan to reach the “Net Zero” goal by 2050
- At the very least, fair representation of Canada-based leadership and the role of the board will be held by 2025 by women and racists.
